Vitaminwater® House at the Knitting Factory for the Northside Festival

I was commissioned by vitaminwater® to design a graphic to live screen print for their residency at the Knitting Factory in conjunction w/ the Northside Festival from June 13th through the 15th!

Each color variation was printed in a limited run of 100; a different color for each night of the residency.

CREEPS'd OUT!

After a craaaazy two months and some change, the CREEPS III Release and Collective Show at Ed. Varie came and went w/ no casualties and a great sense of accomplishment! Many, many thanks to all my friends and, most importantly, the rest of the CREEPS core who showed tremendous support and work ethic to make sure this bebe saw the light of day!

The third incarnation of CREEPS Annual is jam-packed w/ the work of thirty-three artists of all kinds of flava flaves bound into three books w/ screen printed coatings and wrapped tightly in a die-cut sleeve collaboration between my siamese twin, Nina Carelli, and I. Extra bonuses include two screen printed posters based on my humiliation and A (Ode to Nauman) videos and a first-time CREEPS Collective collaboration: the Paperbabe!

Eye Keep Losing All My Teeth and Friends

The Postcards from the Edge Preview Party last Friday was SUPER crowded! Hopefully, you were able to see the show this past weekend before it came down. Lots of great work!...and it was fun trying to figure out which of the pieces were by big names in the game. A friendly volunteer revealed to me that the postcard pictured below was actually Yoko Ono's, so congrats to whoever made the purchase!

My submission, Eye Keep Losing All My Teeth and Friends (Postcard #1010), seemed to pique some interest, so here's hoping it was able to make Visual AIDs some cash moneys (I've yet to find out!) Some  art budz who were also in the show include: Buzz Slutzky, Erin Dodge, Florencia Escudero, and Lindsay Lee Long (GERL update your website!). Check 'em out!...and if you didn't get a chance to submit this year, you should definitely make an attempt the coming one!

It was really freeing and fun to make a piece that didn't involve the printmaking process. I think I'll do it more often...
